Early Year 1 – Arts: Camel in the Desert

Our Early Years 1 scientists traded the cold polar region for the sunny, sprawling sands of the desert habitat!

Embarking on a colorful expedition, students explored what makes the desert unique—discovering its hot climate and learning all about the incredible adaptations of camels. To bring their discoveries to life, the young artists grabbed crayons and got to work drawing and coloring their own desert scenes, adding rich environmental details to surround their custom camel creations.

By connecting natural science with vibrant artwork, EY1 strengthened fine motor skills, visual observation, and imaginative storytelling!
