
Baby Class – Sensory: Tasting the Gingerbread
During the learning theme about “Food and Spices,” the babies had a tasting activity. Previously they were introduced by spices such as ginger, tamarind, turmeric, etc. Then they had a chance to taste gingerbread. This activity was aimed at giving a ginger-tasting experience. They could connect about what they had seen and learned through pictures and then taste it. Tasting activity improved their sensory competence and enriched their knowledge about what they had learned through the tasting sense. ***
