Baby Class – Manual Activity: Transferring Balls

The babies enjoyed a delightful activity involving table tennis balls floating on water. Their task was to carefully scoop the balls from a basin using a ladle and transfer them to an empty tray. This activity was designed to stimulate their fine motor skills, as they had to grasp the ladle steadily to ensure the balls didn’t slip or fall.

Additionally, the babies had to navigate the wet playground as part of their sensory exploration. Walking on the wet surface enhanced their balance and coordination, while the tactile experience of water underfoot contributed to their sensory development. This hands-on activity not only helped improve their manual dexterity but also encouraged creativity and problem-solving as they figured out how to control the ladle and the balls. The combination of physical movement and sensory engagement made this activity both stimulating and enjoyable for the little ones. ***
