Baby Class – Manual Activity: Peel it off
As a part of the learning activity dealing with the theme of fruit and veggies, the babies got a chance to have a manual activity to peel off the fruit skin. They looked enthusiastic to touch bananas and oranges provided by the teachers. Their parents assisted them in pinching the tip of the fruit skin then the babies were encouraged to pull it out properly.
This activity aimed at improving their manual competence as they had to manage their fingers well for peeling the fruit. At the same time, they also had a sensory activity dealing with the taste which helped them to recognize the particular taste of some fruit. ***
