Baby Class Fine Motor : Transferring Eggs using Food Tongs

The babies in Genius Level looked very curious when they saw the colorful eggs. They had to transfer the eggs to the empty trays using food tongs. The babies were assisted in holding the tongs properly; hence the eggs could be picked up and moved well. The movement for opening and shutting the tongs are the essential skills supporting their fingers coordination which later on will be used as practice on using the scissors. At the same time, their cognitive skill was stimulated as they were encouraged to recognize the colors of the eggs.***
