Baby Class – Fine Motor: Sticky Eggs Exploration
For continuing the learning theme about “Food and Spices”, the babies found some plastic eggs dipped into the wet flour. The eggs were very colourful hence it raised the babies curiosity to explore. They had to transfer the eggs from the flour to the clean water.
This activity was designed for them to stimulate their tactile competence. They would also connect what they had learn about food and spices in the classroom with the real experience. Moreover they learnt about texture in a different way hence in a simple way they will know how sticky texture worked.
This activity was beneficial for them to give an experience about texture. They will make connection about what they have learnt to something they experience at that time. It also improved their confidence in exploring new thing as building confidence for baby is important. They will get many precious experience when they were brave to try something new.
