Baby class – FIne Motor: Pouring Water
In the Tweet Level class, babies participated in a water play activity designed to strengthen their motor skills and develop early practical life skills. With guidance and support, each child was provided a basin of water and plastic cups. They practiced holding the cups securely, scooping water, and pouring it into a bucket.
This hands-on activity allowed the babies to build finger strength and control, essential for gripping objects confidently. By learning to scoop and pour, they also practiced the coordination required for daily tasks, such as holding and drinking from a cup independently. This foundational experience not only supports their fine motor development but also encourages independence as they acquire basic self-care skills.
The children were fully engaged, enjoying the sensory experience of water play while building important skills that will support them in daily routines as they grow. ***
