Baby Class – Exploring Rubber Band Textures During Water Play in the Genius Level Class
In the Genius Level class, babies participated in a water play activity designed to help them explore the texture of rubber bands. During this activity, the children were given rubber bands and encouraged to feel their textures directly. They noticed that the rubber bands were elastic, bouncy, slightly rough, and easy to bend. After a period of free exploration, the children were guided to collect the rubber bands using a plastic fork as a simple tool.
This activity was designed to develop the children’s fine motor skills, particularly their ability to grasp and manipulate small objects. Additionally, it introduced practical life skills by showing them how to use a basic tool, gradually supporting the development of coordination and independence.***
