Toddler – Practical Life: Sweep up the dirt

The toddler engaged in practical life activities that support independence, coordination, and a sense of responsibility. At home, through home-link learning activity, they wiped the table and swept the floor to strengthen fine and gross motor skills while learning self-help and care-of-environment routines.

At school, as the continuation activity, the toddler students participated in sweeping the garden activity. During this activity, students were encouraged to practice taking turns and sharing mlearning media with peers. These experiences promote cooperation, patience, respect for others, and care for the nature and environment.

By experiencing the same practical life activities at school and at home, learning becomes meaningful and consistent. Practising familiar routines in both environments helps children understand that learning is part of everyday life, not only in the classroom. This strong connection between school and home supports skill reinforcement, builds confidence, and empowers children to actively contribute to the environment, started from their closest ones, home and school.
