Toddler – Motoric: Transferring Dry and Liquid Materials
Toddler students explored their fine motor skills through activities that have been set by teacher. Students practiced how to transfer the water by squeezing sponge and pouring the water into another measuring cup. They patiently completed these activities in turn. Other students waited for their turn by sitting down to the chairs provided.
After completing the previous activities, Toddler students continued their exploration in spooning the plastic balls using the rice paddle. Apart from developing their fine motor skill, by doing this activity children could train their focus between eyes and hands coordination. They were asked to spoon the plastic balls and put them to the tray without falling.
Through these fun learning activities, toddler students acquired their opportunity to train both fine motor and gross motor skills. Further, they could train their resilience when encountering the failure. This activate their eagerness to keep trying and never give up. Hopefully, it can cultivating personal resilience of young learners for the future.
