Toddler – Math: Assemble the Crocodile
Toddlers learned about crocodile and its habitat based on the story of “The Selfish Crocodile”. They also learned about animal body parts such as head, body, and tail. By participating to pretend play activity to find the crocodile in the river, they were encouraged to find the puzzle pieces. They also found numbers on it like number 1, 2, and 3.
Teachers led them to assemble the puzzle by matching the pictures from the head to the tail. Students also showed their enthusiasm in mentioning the numbers in front of their teachers.
Through this activity help students to enhance their ability to think critically, solve the problem, and understand the symbols of numbers. It also improves their eye-hand coordination as they assemble the puzzle pieces. ***
