Toddler – Exit Point: The Brilliant Bug Ball

The Toddler students participated in an exciting Exit Point event for The Brilliant Bug Ball theme. The day began with singing sessions, where they joyfully performed “Fly-Fly Butterfly,” “Incy Wincy Spider,” and “I Am Hungry Caterpillar.” Dressed in their minibeast costumes, which had been announced a week earlier, the students confidently presented their outfits by describing their chosen insect and demonstrating its movement. The event continued with the Bug Olympics, where students engaged in fun, bug-themed challenges such as the Caterpillar Crawl obstacle course and the Butterfly Wing Flapping Race, encouraging physical activity and imaginative play.

Next, the Toddler students visited the EY2 class to showcase their learning experiences as part of the Exit Point activity. They confidently performed a lively bug song, bringing excitement to the audience. Following the performance, the Toddler student introduced themselves and their minibeast costume, stating what kind of bug they were, its unique characteristics, and how it moved, demonstrating their ability to communicate their understanding to the audience. This experience not only reinforced their knowledge about the learning theme but also fostered social interaction and confidence. By participating in various levels of learning—from recalling information to applying it creatively in presentations and games—this event provided a well-rounded and engaging learning experience.
