Secondary: The Visit of Pelita Nusantara Bandung
On Wednesday, 5 February 2025, Secondary FIS welcomed a delegation from Pelita Nusantara School Bandung. This occasion was highly anticipated, as it marked the beginning of collaborative activities meticulously organised by students from both institutions. The visiting school comprised 19 students and 3 teachers who engaged in various joint activities with Secondary FIS students.
The event commenced with a series of dance performances, initiated by Secondary FIS students dancing, followed by a captivating display from Pelita Nusantara School students, including choir, singing and also dance performances. The opening was truly remarkable and vibrant, leaving all attendees thoroughly impressed. The audience responded with enthusiastic applause and cheers, expressing their appreciation for the performances.
Subsequently, a learning session took place, facilitating interaction between students from both schools. This session encompassed English and IT education, emphasising the importance of communication and collaboration in the learning process. Students from Secondary 3 took on the role of learning buddies, guiding their peers from Pelita Nusantara School. English and IT teachers were present to oversee the activities, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable learning experience.
Events of this provide invaluable opportunities for creating meaningful learning experiences and broadening students’ perspectives. Moreover, Secondary FIS students are consistently stimulated to apply their skills in practical settings, enhancing their learning through real-world engagement.
