Secondary: The Summit of School Orientation
The summit of the school orientation was conducted on July 28, 2023. There were two main activities; the exhibition and the student’s performance (Pensi).
For the exhibition, each class was given a topic to study. Secondary 1 had ‘Facts or Hoax’ (be wise in using social media) as the topic, Secondary 2 had ‘Live in Harmony’ (be friendly, respectful, no bullying), and Secondary 3 had ‘The Danger of Cyberspace – for teens’ (beware of online predators, etc).
They were given four days to prepare for the exhibition. On the exhibition day (July 28), each class was given time to display their work and present it to the other levels. The students did it with full of enthusiasm. The students also enjoyed the teachers’ and their friends’ performances at the summit of the school orientation. Students are expected to be ready to face the new academic year from the series of activities in the school orientation. ***
