Secondary School Orientation Day 4
A health screening for Secondary 1 students was conducted in Cambridge room to ensure the condition of our students. The screening included a series of tests aimed at detecting any potential health issues early on.
The health screening begins by evaluating students’ eyesight to identify the condition of their vision. After that, hearing checks are carried out to ensure all students have optimal hearing health. Ear, nose, and throat (ENT) examinations are also performed, with a focus on identifying common problems, such as infections or allergies, that may adversely affect students.
Additionally, a particular blood test was administered for female students. This test aimed to screen for any potential health concerns specifically for girls, ensuring they receive the necessary attention and care as they progress through this critical stage of development.
This health check is a collaborative effort between the school and the Puskesmas, highlighting our commitment to creating a healthy school environment. Overall, the health screening became a successful initiative, highlighting the importance of preventive health services and their role in supporting students’ academic and personal growth.***
