Secondary 2 physicists brought classroom formulas to life through an action-packed hands-on speed experiment!
Working in collaborative groups, students set out to calculate the speed of everyday objects—a football, a basketball, and a toy car. Armed with stopwatches and measuring tapes, each team set their distance, tracked travel times down to the second, and applied the core Physics formula:
Speed = Distance / Time
After collecting their data, students organized their findings and observations into comprehensive Science Reports. By moving beyond the textbook, Secondary 2 sharpened their scientific thinking, teamwork, data analysis, and real-world problem-solving skills!
