Secondary Level: Summit of School Orientation
Friday, 1 August 2025, was the closing of the school orientation program. After two weeks of adaptation, exploration and getting more familiar with the school environment as well as routines, all Secondary students were engaged in various meaningful and exciting activities to end their school orientation. The event featured various students’ performances, including group performances and class performances.
One of them was the final round of the Composing Song Competition and Role-play Competition. The top three groups in the ‘Composing Song Competition’ and ‘Role-play Competition’ re-performed to fight for the best one. The winner of the composing song competition was Group 7 and the winner of the role play competition was Group 10. The event also included a Choir Competition where classes competed by singing “FIS Mars” and the national anthem “Indonesia Raya.” Secondary 3 impressed the judges and audience, earning first place for their harmonious performance. Some students also voluntarily participated in the event, performing their talents through fast painting, dance and band performances. The performances had stunned the audience’s attention as each student enthusiastically participated in each activity.
Throughout the orientation, the students demonstrated strong collaboration and a sense of responsibility, actively contributing to their groups, connecting and growing together. The orientation program has not only helped students settle into their new routines but has also brought spirit to carry into the year ahead. ***
