Secondary: Community Service to Primary 6 and Primary 4

As part of the community service and in accordance with the Reading Program stimulation, Secondary 2 students (represented by Atta, Helen, Jasmine, and Kenzo) visited Primary 6 on Oct 31 and Primary 4 students on Nov 1, 2023. Secondary 2 students performed a storytelling entitled “The Legend of Telaga Warna”. Before the community service, Secondary 2 students made their script and prepared the properties on their own.

During the storytelling, Secondary 2 students were expressive and confident in front of their audiences. They also campaigned for the reading program by emphasizing the importance of reading books to know more stories. Students from both levels enjoyed having this community service.

For the Secondary level, having this community service boosts their confidence, communication, and interpersonal skills. As for the P6 & P4 students joining the community service enriches their vocabularies, promotes awareness of the reading program, as well as develops the value of respecting others. ***
