Secondary: Christmas and New Year Assembly
Secondary Christmas and Ney Year assembly had been conducted on Friday, 10 January 2025. All Secondary students gathered in Cambridge room to follow sets of activities that had been prepared by the teachers. Mr. Adhy became the master of ceremony who led the assembly sharing the happiness of Christmas and the hope of a new year.
Students received valuable insights upon the information shared in the assembly. They were able to know more about the meaning of religious celebration especially for those who celebrate it. Meanwhile, others who have different beliefs had the opportunity to recognise other customs as part of getting closer or build healthy relationship.
This event meant to stimulate students’ awareness upon the diversity that we have as Indonesian citizen as well as students who spend half of their days in Secondary environment. It is important for students to always be familiar with differences and how they are able to respect and appreciate those things in their surroundings.
School puts deep concern to facilitate the diversity of all students. Through this, Secondary learning environment can be a safe and enjoyable place to learn and socialise. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year dearest!
