Secondary – Biology: Birth Control
This time, Secondary 3 students explored the topic of family planning, which involves managing the number and spacing of children in a family through birth control methods, education, and health services. The goal of family planning is to ensure the well-being of parents, children, and society as a whole. Through this lesson, students gained important knowledge about reproductive health, raising their awareness and sense of responsibility for their future lives and choices.
For their assignment, students were tasked with creating a poster that highlighted one birth control method, explaining how it affects the body and evaluating its effectiveness. The students approached this task with enthusiasm, engaging deeply with the material and showing creativity in their work. It is hoped that this hands-on activity will enhance their understanding of family planning and equip them with valuable insights for making informed decisions in the future. ***
