Secondary – Batik Day Celebration: FIS Berkain
Batik has always had a special place in the hearts of Indonesians. No matter where we come from, Batik fits perfectly for us to wear.
On this occasion, we merged the Batik Day celebration with the FIS Berkain event where all Secondary FIS members wore traditional Javanese clothes or Batik as a form of our support preserving the traditional values that we have. Additionally, wearing traditional clothes makes us look prestigious, and elegant, yet at the same time calm and down to earth. An important value that truly helps us to be who we are amid global influence. Secondary FIS puts this fundamental concern to equip students with the correct mindset and attitude starting from the closest thing in students’ life. ***
