Secondary 3 – Physics: Alternative Energy for human living.
Secondary 3 suggested alternative energy for communities living in certain areas. Videos and posters were used to inform people about alternative energy. First, they collected information from various sources to find the energy crisis in some areas. They found out that many regions need alternative energy to support human life.
The students then demonstrated various alternative energy to replace non-renewable energy in those areas. Some alternative energy they offered were biomass, geothermal energy, hydro energy, etc. This activity engaged students’ communication and critical thinking as they worked. It was fun, and they were looking forward to having their next Physics project. ***
