Secondary 3 : Making Simple Photo Gallery
Secondary 3 students learned ‘Travel Writing.’ It connects the learning with the student’s real-life experiences; the students were asked to bring a photo of their travel experience.
They made a simple photo gallery in the class where they displayed their photos and shared their travel descriptions in the given space. The following activity was listening to people’s travel experiences. The listening activity taught them the vocabulary used to express their travel experience and the pronunciation. ***

Next, they read a passage written by a Scottish author, Robert Louis Stevenson who described his travel in a steerage class. Here, the students learned a different form of travel writing where the author described in detail the trip he made, the people he met, the impressions of the place, including the thoughts and feelings during the journey. ***
