Secondary 3 – English: Secondary 3 Classroom Comes to Life in Drama!
Secondary 3 class had a drama project as their last lesson before having their school examination. Last week, Secondary 3 was buzzing with excitement as they had their final practice for their drama performance. The English lesson turned into a creative and collaborative journey, as the students worked hard to bring their original stories to the stage.
First, each group wrote their own script, showing their impressive creativity and teamwork. Then, they chose a script to be performed on stage. After deciding on the cast, they held a table read, revised their scripts, had some practice and moved on to rehearsals. The class was divided into several groups to handle different roles in the production. One group focused on props, another managed sound effects, and one took care of costumes. Two students took on the role of directors, while another two helped organize the flow of the cast during practice. The students enjoyed every moment of preparing for the drama. They showed dedication and seriousness during practice.
On Friday, 25 April 2025, all the students successfully staged an outstanding drama performance, reflecting the exceptional talent and hard work of the students. Each student brought their character to life with impressive dedication, and the entire cast demonstrated remarkable chemistry and teamwork. The drama plot also captivated the audience as the actors delivered their lines with emotion. This activity not only helped improve their English and performance skills but also boosted their confidence and teamwork abilities.
