Secondary 3 – Biology: Adaptation
Secondary 3 students learned about the adaptation of plants and animals. During the session, they were asked to discuss how plants and animals adapt to their habitat. Then, they were asked to present the result of their discussion in front of the class.
The classroom was filled with engaging discussion. Students used the Q&A time effectively to confirm and deepen their understanding. This activity was meant to stimulate them to be curious and think critically about the material discussed.
By learning the material, students can appreciate the diversity of life and how organisms from different habitats have evolved unique traits to meet specific needs. They know that everything must have undergone a life process and shared benefits with others.
Studying adaptation in animals and plants provides students with a deeper understanding of the natural world. It also encourages inquiry into what lies behind living organisms and equips them with knowledge that can be applied to real-world challenges.
