Secondary 2 – Visual Arts: International Landmarks

Tuesday, January 21st 2025, Secondary 2 students continued the material about “International Landmarks’. This time, they were asked to work in groups and made 3D landmarks products. The students were given freedom to choose one of landmarks around Europe and Asia. They had to choose one landmark and sketch it in A4 paper. In addition, they also recorded some information of the 3D products that they would make, like the materials and tools to finish the product and divide each member responsible to bring each tools from home. Preparation becomes the focus to make sure that in the further process all students can work and contribute for the project.

This is important to make students be aware of the things they need to achieve the result optimally. At the same time, they are expected to be able to work together with their group members by collecting ideas and making decision. Visual Arts appreciates the process as big as the end product. This projection fosters students’ consistency in following the steps structurally. Later on, their final products will be launched in form of exhibition. The students showed their enthusiasm during the discussion and making the sketch.
