Secondary 2 – PBL: Respect
This term Secondary 2 students are learning about Respect with the big idea being “It is important to honour behaviour and processes that have proven their worth”. As part of the activity, students were asked to incorporate batik motifs into a design. Why batik? Because batik has proven its worth and was selected by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009. The students were very excited to make the design, produce the product and then present it to the audience. ***
