Secondary 2 – Maths: Quiz Relay Race

Secondary 2 students took part in an exciting Maths quiz, structured as a relay race. The teacher set up five stations, each focusing on a different topic: counting with negative numbers, order of operations, fractions, decimals, and factors and multiples. At each station, students faced six questions, each with a designated point value, and had the option to earn bonus points. They were allowed to choose any two questions per station to answer, giving them the flexibility to select based on their strengths and strategies.

Students had a maximum of seven minutes at each station before rotating to the next one, keeping the pace fast and engaging. This interactive format not only challenged their mathematical skills but also helped them assess their abilities, practice time management, and think strategically. The constant movement and variety of tasks kept students fully engaged while providing a dynamic way to reinforce key mathematical concepts. ***
