Secondary 2: Live-in (Day 1)
Students kicked off a transformative Live-In experience at Santa Theresia Lisieux, Boro, stepping into a vibrant local community for an immersive lesson in empathy and adaptability!
Departing early in the morning, the group arrived in Boro and was warmly received at Santa Monika Parish Church before heading straight into their first outreach visit at the Santa Monika Nursing Home. The students spent meaningful time connecting with elderly residents and sharing joyful activities. By afternoon, participants met their host families, jumped right into domestic life by helping cook dinner, and wrapped up the day with an insightful teacher-led reflection session.
Through intergenerational connection, family integration, and daily responsibility, students pushed past their comfort zones to discover the true power of community service and open-hearted living!
