Secondary 2: Introduction to Expressionism Artworks
On Friday, 12 August 2022, Secondary 2 students had an outing to Tumurun museum. The activity aimed to introduce them to Expressionism artworks, where Tumurun museum was the perfect place for them to learn more about Expressionism and other artwork.
Students started the activity by having a briefing with the museum tour guide. He explained a brief history of Tumurun museum and specific rules the students should obey. Then, the students were invited to see the artwork’s collections completed with the explanation by the tour guide, starting from the second floor up to the first floor.
There, the students have to complete the worksheet given by the teacher through observation. The worksheet included questions about Expressionism artworks they could find in the museum and other masterpiece artworks. The students were so enthusiastic and enjoyed the whole activity there. ***
