Secondary 2: Fostering Responsibility and Teamwork

In this new academic year, Secondary 2 is exposed to the importance of being prepared and well organised. Due to that, in this activity, students were given a chance to arrange their needs and tasks in the S2 learning environment independently. The activity began with the election of class leaders (captain class, vice-captain, and secretary) and the formation of five teams that will support the smooth running of the learning journey. The member of the team consists of those who are responsible for teacher assistants, supplies, cleanliness, reading agents, and LCD. The leaders and the team discussed their work programs and presented them to the entire class. Each team must contribute to the smooth running of class activities. Involving students in maintaining and supporting the learning environment helps to foster collaborative habits as well as preparing them for learning. Additionally, students learn to appreciate each other’s roles. This way, they can focus on both academic areas and learn to be a young responsible citizen. ***
