Secondary 2 – English: Reading Activity
Secondary 2 students checked their reading comprehension about the story they read, ‘The Fair at La Linea’. In this activity, each student was given 1-2 questions about the story on a piece of paper. Here, each student was given time to read the questions to the class, and the rest of the students had to answer the questions orally.
Next, the teacher and students discussed the answers. This activity was an alternative way to check the students’ understanding. Students were also encouraged to be confident in expressing their ideas. Secondary 2 students were engaged and active in this activity. ***
