Secondary 2 – English: Debate Simulation
Secondary 2 students stepped into the spotlight for a high-stakes English debate tackling the critical topic: “Is Social Media a Safe Way to Communicate?”
Divided into Affirmative and Negative teams, students prepared evidence-backed arguments, structured opening statements, and sharpened their rebuttals. During the live session, debaters faced off in a dynamic Q&A—defending their positions with facts, active listening, and cool-headed reasoning rather than emotional reactions.
By analyzing digital safety from multiple angles, Secondary 2 mastered public speaking, evidence-based argumentation, critical thinking, and respectful discourse!
