Secondary 2 students did an experiment testing the nutrition contained in some foods, such as bananas, biscuits, rice, egg, candlenut, and orange. The nutrition they tried was protein, glucose, carbohydrate, and fat. They had to grind all of the foods before being tested. After that, they tested the nutrition contained in all of the food by using a reagent, such as Biuret (protein), Benedict (carbohydrate), and Lugol (glucose). For fat testing, they used opaque paper. They dripped twenty drops of the reagent into all of the food. They had to wait for a while until the color of the food changed. They were very excited during the experiment.***
