Secondary 1 – Visual Arts: Making Poster (Endangered Animals)
Secondary 1 students learned about making a campaign poster themed on the endangered animals in Indonesia. At the beginning of the lesson, they recalled some Indonesian animals that were nearly extinct. They also learned about the basic knowledge of making good campaign posters, such as :
- Visual look: how to make interesting pictures and campaign words.
- Color: making eye-catching color into the poster.
- Content: Make clear and important information to the audience.
- Decoration: supporting ideas.
Then, they were formed into groups to do the task. As the learning confirmation, they had a presentation where they could inform about the content of the poster to their friends. During the Q & A session, the students can ask questions to the presenter. It was a pleasure to watch the students’ collaboration during the process of making this campaign poster. ***
