Secondary 1 students conducted an experiment to measure precision with a Vernier caliper. Before the experiment, they learned about base quantities, such as converting them and measuring an object precisely with the Vernier caliper. During the measurement experiment, the students tried to measure the diameter of the board marker and how thick the science book was with the measurement steps used in the Vernier caliper. The measurement results of the Vernier caliper were more precise than just using a ruler. In the end, the students knew how to make an exact measurement. ***
