Secondary 1 – PBL: Adaptability
In this Term 1, Secondary 1 students learn about the Dutch occupancy in Indonesia and how the Dutch adapt to the geographical conditions in Indonesia.
In today’s meeting, students were asked to find information about the Dutch first arrival in Indonesia, reasons why the Dutch occupy Indonesia, Dutch treatment towards the local inhabitants, and locals’ resistance to the occupier. They interviewed some teachers to find the information. Students were very excited to do the activity. ***
