Secondary 1 – Maths: Properties of 2D shapes
Secondary 1 students are going to learn the concepts of properties of two-dimensional shapes. It started by recalling their concept of 2D shapes and symmetrical lines. Learning and remembering shape names and symmetrical lines is an important foundational skill. In order to master all of this new information, students need plenty of practice and repetition!
Make Math fun and interactive in the recalling section by asking them to find out the real 2D shapes around the school. They found the trapezium in the tie knot and leaf, the rhombus in the glass pattern, the octagon on the chair, the rhombus in the tile patterns, the parallelogram on the wall pattern, and many more. By bringing fun and engaging 2D shape activities into the classroom, students will be excited to learn more about the properties of two-dimensional shapes. ***
