Secondary 1 – Chemistry: State of Matter Notes Doodle Wheel
In order to deepen students’ understanding of ‘The State of Matter’, secondary 1 students created the ‘State of Matter Notes Doodle Wheel’. First, students were given standardized knowledge about the state of matter. Students were given hands-on activities as practice after understanding the material.
Students were given a doodle note template. They had to fill in the blank with the description of three states of matter and changes in the states of matter. Then they drew the arrangement of particles (solid, liquid, and gas) in the template given to them individually. Finally, students added color and creativity to the template.
The creation of the States of Matter Doodle Wheel can be a useful tool in the learning process of students as it helps them to remember the key concepts related to the states of matter. ***
