Secondary-1: Cell Observation
Students of Secondary 1 had an observation about the cell. They observed the organelles found in the onion cell by using a microscope. First, they had to prepare the observation object by peeling the onion’s skin as thin as possible, then placing it on the microscopic slide. After that, they put the slide under the microscope’s objective lens. Then, they observed it by trying to find the organelles of the onion cell, such as the nucleus, the cell wall, and the cytoplasm. They made a simple report after observing the cell by drawing it and explaining the function of each organelle found. They were enthusiastic and happy during the activity. ***
