Secondary 1 – Biology : Growing The Fungi

Secondary 1 did a simple experiment about Fungi. They wanted to prove that Fungi can grow in damp places more than in dry locations. The media they used to produce the Fungi was bread. Firstly, they prepared two slices of bread and poured a little water over one of the slices to make it damp. Then, they left the two slices on plates for an hour to give spores in the air to settle on them. Afterward, they put a piece of bread in each plastic bag and sealed it. They observed the bread for a week to see the colonies of the Fungi. They photographed it as their data. ***
