Secondary 1 – Biology: Exploring the World Around Us
Secondary 1 students swapped their textbooks for fresh air during an exciting hands-on Biology field study around the school grounds!
Before stepping outside, the young scientists mastered key concepts like natural phenomena, scientific observation, and the difference between biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) elements. Armed with notebooks and sharp eyes, students audited the campus—from the central park to the Cambridge area—classifying everything from plants and insects to soil and sunlight. To conclude, each student selected one object to sketch in fine, scientific detail.
By blending outdoor exploration with artistic precision, Secondary 1 strengthened their observational skills, deepened their ecology knowledge, and brought scientific inquiry to life!
