Primary 6 – Visual Arts: Sketch from a Real Object
On this day, Friday, August 18th, 2023, Primary 6 students learned about 2D sketch from a real object. The object was unmoving object around school area. At the beginning of the lesson, they were asked to recall about 5 steps of drawing Realism from the real object, such as:
1. Object observation (Analyze, choose the angle to draw the object).
2. Sketch (Draw the outline of the object).
3. Re-sketch (Draw the fixed object).
4. Put details of the object.
5. Finishing (Colouring).
Then, the students were asked to do step 1 and 2 outside the class. Whenever the students have finished with their sketch, they continued with step 3 until 5. They were so enthusiatic to follow the activities outside.
