Primary 6 – Science: Practical Examination
P6 students had Science Practical Examination on Monday, 6 May 2024. “More About Electrical Circuits” were chosen as the topic for this examination. In this examination, students needed to complete a worksheet that consist of 2 main activities. First, students had to categorize some pictures of electrical circuit into series or parallel, and represented each circuit into circuit diagram. Second, students had to practically arrange two circuits, series and parallel, based on diagrams provided in the worksheet.
Based on the circuits that the students had made, they needed to answer some questions in the worksheet as follows:1. Which circuit has brighter lamps? 2. What will happen if you remove 1 lamp from series circuit? 3. What will happen if you remove 1 lamp from parallel circuit?This practical examination helps students to comprehend deeper when studying about electrical circuits as well as having real time exposure benefiting to their daily life. ***
