Primary 6 – Orientation Week: Introduction to P6 and Cleanliness
A new level means new challenges. This is the slogan that the teachers shared with the students on the first day of school in Primary 6. The challenges can be in the form of academic matters as well as the student’s personal development. To prepare them for these challenges, P6 teachers introduce the routine, responsibilities, and rules applied in Primary 6. Hopefully, by conducting this session, the students can be more aware of their responsibilities and be more independent to fulfill their duties.
Besides sharing about rules, students were also reminded to keep everything clean at school by having Cleanliness Sessions with classroom teachers. In this session, teachers told the students that we should keep the cleanliness around us and also ourselves. After some discussions, students worked in groups to make a mind map that explained the definition of cleanliness, its benefits, and how we can maintain it at school. ***
