Primary 5 – Visual Arts: 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
Primary 5 students were introduced to the theme “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”. They learned about the definition of those three words, the cause and effect of it, and also the application to their daily life. Then, they were asked to do a project to make a craft product from recycled things from nature and unused stuff from home.
They were given the freedom to choose and make the product with their teammates since it was group work. In the first meeting, they were asked to brainstorm ideas and sketch the product completed with some information, like the name, what materials they use, and the function of the product. They look so curious during the activities. ***
