Primary 5 : Students Made Neuron Model (IPC)
P5 students learned about some important parts of the brain as a neuron in IPC (Brainwave). Neuron becomes an essential part of the brain since it has important functions to receive and send signal from or to our brain. Before they got a deeper understanding of neurons, they were given a chance to learn about what neurons looked like. At first, students did research from a video about neurons. Through the video, they knew that neurons had a particular shape to support their function. To give a concrete illustration of a neuron, students were asked to make a neuron model with straws and corn seeds. Students observed the example given by the teacher and then continued to make the neuron model in groups. They were so happy and showed their enthusiasm for creating the neuron model. ***
