Primary 5 – Maths: Calculation Rules
P5 students learned about Calculation Rules, especially commutative and associative laws. They used the laws of arithmetic to simplify calculations. To familiarise themselves with the laws, students made a booklet to help them remember the meaning, the concept, and the examples for each law. In the booklet, they wrote about the commutative law of addition and multiplication as well as how they are applied using associative law.
By making the booklet, students will easily remember each concept of the law and get a deeper understanding by practicing and finding the examples by themselves. ***
