Primary 5 – Maths: Addition of Fractions
In Maths class, P5 students learned about the Addition of Fractions. Previously, they recalled their prior knowledge about equivalent fractions by matching the equivalent fractions and playing memory games using fraction cards. After that, students learned the concept of addition of fractions using some colorful papers they had cut into smaller sizes. They built their understanding of the addition of fractions through discussions done with their friends in the group. The students are very enthusiastic. ***
