Primary 5 – English: Making Figurative Language Posters

In English lessons, P5 students learned about figurative language such as alliteration, metaphor, simile, and personification. They learned the meaning, the differences, and the benefits of using them in stories or poetry. In this meeting, students were asked to make figurative language posters. Each group was given a type of figurative language. Then, they had to write the definition and give some examples.

This activity was also a preparation for the topic test. P5 students were able to follow the activity enthusiastically as they recalled their knowledge about figurative language. ***
